CASE STUDY – DATA PROCESSING & TITLE OPERATIONS

Data Processing & Title Management System

A business operations tool built to turn daily title-order files into clean, searchable, export-ready work queues with user access, activity logging, backup support, and reporting views.

Problem

The client needed to process recurring title-order data without relying on manual cleanup, scattered files, repeated checks, and inconsistent handoffs between staff.

Solution

I delivered a structured data-processing workflow that imports files, checks records against business rules, separates work by status, supports search, and prepares clean exports for downstream use.

My Role

I designed the workflow, user screens, import and export rules, login behavior, reporting views, backup process, and activity tracking needed for day-to-day operations.

What The System Does

Secure Access

Users sign in before reaching operational data, with role-aware controls for user management and restricted actions.

Operational Dashboard

A central dashboard gives staff quick access to important views, actions, status counts, and daily processing work.

Import & Scrubbing

Incoming files are imported, reviewed, classified, deduplicated, and routed according to business rules.

Search & Review

Dynamic search helps staff find records quickly, inspect details, and move work forward without digging through files.

Export & Handoff

Cleaned records can be exported for external systems, reducing manual formatting and improving consistency.

Audit & Backup

User activity is logged and backups can be created so the team has visibility and recovery options.

Workflow Highlights

Missing Information

Records with incomplete details are separated so staff know exactly what needs follow-up before export.

Exclusion Rules

Irrelevant or restricted records can be filtered out before they enter active work queues.

Repeatable Processing

The team gets a consistent path from file intake to clean handoff, making the work easier to train and audit.

Architecture & Delivery

The system is organized around the way the business handles title-order data: intake, validation, exception handling, search, export, user access, backup, and activity review. The design keeps each workflow explicit so staff can understand where a record is, why it is there, and what should happen next.

What This Shows I Can Build

Messy Data To Clear Work

I can turn repeated manual cleanup into a predictable operational flow.

Business Rules In The System

I design applications that enforce rules close to the work instead of relying on memory and spreadsheets.

Practical Delivery

I focus on usable screens, clear handoffs, recoverability, and tools staff can depend on every day.
